Adult Martial Arts

Q: “Will your classes help me tone up?”

The combination of cardio, resistance training and proper diet while training in Martial Arts will help you to tone up very quickly.

Q: “Do you have to be in good shape to take martial arts?”

Not at all! In fact, many people use martial arts as a way to get in get fit. They come to us out of shape, and quickly become athletic and limber.

Q: “How many people are in a group class?”

Classes will range between 15-30 people. The larger the class, the more instructors to help out to keep things running smoothly.

Krav Maga Self Defense

Q: “What's the risk for injury with these classes?”

Very low, we're proud to say. We take extreme pre-cautions to insure that our students are safe. As with any form of physical activity, Krav Maga comes with a risk for injury. However, injuries are very rare here.

Q: “Are these classes fun? Serious? Strict? Etc.?”

All of the above! Every class ranges from fun & light-hearted, to focused and serious. We've found that a good balance of both provides the most enjoyable and effective learning environment.

Kids Martial Arts

Q: “Will martial arts, karate, tae kwon do make my kid violent?”

No way! In fact, martial arts makes kids calmer and more respectful than ever. Martial arts always has been about peace, and it always will be.

Q: “Can my child do martial arts, karate, tae kwon do if he/she is not the athletic type?”

Yes! In fact, martial arts is often a "home" for kids who don't excel at team sports. Kids who have trouble in baseball, basketball, etc. often come to martial arts and do extremely well. And it's okay if your child is not athletic right now. Through our classes, they'll get in great shape and become very athletic.

Q: “What's a good age for a child to start martial arts, karate, tae kwon do?”

Honestly, practically every age is a good age to start! We have children as young as 3 years old, as well as teenagers. We also have specific programs for adults. So no matter where you or your child is on the age spectrum - we've got you covered.

Fitness Kickboxing

Q: “Is this similar to “cardio kickboxing”? ”

No, our classes are extremely interactive, and involve real-life boxing equipment like punching bags & gloves. This is nothing like cardio kickboxing!

Q: “What kind of shape should I be in before getting started?”

Whatever shape you're in right now is just fine. If you're not in shape, we'll help you get there. And if you're already in shape, we'll help you get in even better shape, fast.

Q: “How long are the kickboxing classes? ”

Kickboxing classes are about 60 minutes long.
